Somerleaze

For the Somerleaze project, Watson & Gabb collaborated with Jo Berryman Studio and Triptych Furniture to create a series of bespoke surfaces that celebrate bold material contrast and expressive design. Finished in Shou Sugi Ban Gold Brass and Iron, the pieces were developed to emphasise the interplay between tone, texture and depth, forming a striking visual dialogue within the space. The scheme reflects a confident and considered design approach, where strong contrasts were embraced to achieve a distinctive and characterful result, showcasing how Watson & Gabb’s specialist finishing techniques can support ambitious creative direction while maintaining refinement and craftsmanship throughout.
